Murmur

The map, mastered

Find your way around a conversation

The map is the conversation as a tree: follow any branch, read it, fold it away, and mark what settled it.

Click a question to follow its branch. The title says where you are.
Double-click to read it, in the transcript beside the map.

Keys for the map

Move a cursor with the arrows, follow with Space, read with Enter.

↑ to the message above, ↓ down the branch, ← and → along the row.
Enter reads it. [ folds what’s below, and F zooms to 100% at the pointer.

Fold what you’re done with

Hide a line you’ve finished without deleting a word of it.

Fold as many as you like, so the line you’re on has the room.
] or the chip opens one again, and folds are still there when you come back.

Mark the answer

When a reply settles it, mark it, and the way to it stays lit from any branch.

Mark one as the answer, from its menu or under it in the transcript.
Follow any other branch, and the answer is still easy to find. Search lists answers first.

The map’s tools, Sever, Select and summaries, are on the Branching page, and every key is in the docs.
